i had a hot date with someone today!! hoots! guess who?
is none other than my darling bingzhen! :) so happy.


we went to watch a movie- He is just not that into you. a movie which i wanted to watch long ago. finally, i get to watch it. bz was so surprised that i agreed to watch a movie for the fact that all my friends know that i don't like watching movies. my record is so far 2 movies in 2007!

well, the exciting part is about to begin. guess what? meishan is going to try to analyze a movie here for the very first time. i am getting a bit nervous here myself! ARE YOU READY???

the movie is about woman and man. how different they perspectives about relationship can be. very much like Sex and the City but this comes with more humors. 

the movie evolves a few main characters. 

Janine thought she has married the most wonderful husband, Ben. She thinks she is happy with him. she thinks he is nice. but at times, she don't trust him. she found cigarettes and she cannot help it but to doubt Ben. As for Ben, he is not happy in the marriage. He married her because she wanted marriage. He did not want to be a irresponsible jerk and thus agreed to the marriage even when he is not prepared for it. They did not have sex for even once. Then, Ben met another woman, Anna. He thinks she is damn hot. They had an affair. 

Mary always meet someone on the net. She felt the best way to impress a guy now is no longer to make the best hair do but to upload the most beautiful pictures onto any of the friendship networking websites. She is always surrounded by gays who will give her lots of advise and encouragement. Finally, she ended with one of her customer, Conor who initially was so crazy over Anna. 

Beth has been together with her boyfriend Neil for 7 years. she always wanted marriage but he don't believe in marriages. in the end, they broke off. it was only when Beth's dad fell sick and she was so overwhelmed with lots of domestic stuffs, she thought she needed someone to stand beside her. it was then Neil appeared again. she realised that what she wanted was no longer marriage, but Neil. she agreed not to mention anything about marriages ever again in her life. in the end, Neil proposed to her with a ring in his rotten pants which Beth was about to throw away. Neil believes that he will be happy if he can truly make Beth happy.

Gigi has always been in search of the right man. yes, actively searching. first, it was Conor whom she cannot forget. she keeps waiting for his call, wondering why he never called even when he said some beautiful words to her before. she keeps finding excuses for him, thinking that he is interested. she met Alex at this pub when she wanted to find Conor on purpose. they cliqued and Alex told Gigi a lot of valuable insights from a guy's perspective. Gigi became really dependent on Alex, always calling him for help and seeking his advise. it was when Gigi thought that Alex was interested in her, she started to act desperately, scaring the hell out of Alex who was never in the first place interested in her. Alex said really nasty stuffs to her and Gigi was really hurt but that made her determined to move on. It was then Alex realizes that he loves Gigi too. Gigi had her dream came true. They are happily together.
